The Southern California Mediation Association is proud to host its 37th Annual Fall Conference at the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University in Malibu on Saturday, October 25, 2025. SCMA’s mission is to nurture, expand, and develop the practice, profession, and community of mediation. This year’s theme, “The Ever-Changing World of Mediation,” emphasizes practical tools to support mediators in growing their practices while exploring new avenues for professional development and volunteer opportunities. Through a combination of skill-building workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and networking sessions, participants will strengthen their professional competence and gain strategies to navigate the evolving mediation landscape—including the challenges and opportunities created by rapid technological advancements. In addition to enhancing their practices, both for-profit and non-profit, attendees will be able to connect with colleagues, share techniques, and explore meaningful opportunities to volunteer in areas of interest that align with their skills and passions. - A Friday Night Awards Dinner – Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Beverly Hills
