I am an attorney/mediator. I have served as mediator/conciliator for the Loyola Center for Conflict Resolution, a community mediation service. I am the founder of the Institute for Mixed Method Mediation and author of the book Mixed Method Mediation: A Hybrid Approach to Conflict Resolution. I have mediated employment discrimination, wrongful termination, family law, consumer debt, landlord/tenant, and real estate. I serve on the SCMA Outreach Committee. I was the Lead for the SCMA Outreach Video Subcommittee, in charge of producing an Outreach promotional video and Co-Chair for the SCMA 2019 Summer Soiree. I received my B.S. in Business/Finance from California State University-Fresno. I received my J.D. and L.LM. from McGeorge School of Law, the latter in conjunction with the University of Salzburg, Austria. I received my facilitative mediation training from Loyola Law School, a Certificate in Transformative Mediation from Dan Simon Mediation, and a Certificate in Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School. In March, 2019, I received the Ambassador for Peace in Conflict Resolution Award. I will provide SCMA with my time, energy, and three decades of experience in the legal/mediation community. I believe strongly in the unification of mediators from all professional backgrounds in reaching our common goals.
