Dear SCMA Colleagues,

On behalf of myself and the SCMA Board, we want to invite you to this year’s 32nd Annual Conference of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA). Our conference theme, Mediators Rising to the Challenge, is very appropriate for these times. We have all adjusted in many ways during 2020, both in our business dealings and in our personal lives.

This year’s conference will be virtual, and we have an excellent slate of speakers and workshops. Being virtual and using the Zoom platform will allow us to record each workshop and provide those recordings to you after the event. Now you will not have those difficult decisions on which workshop to attend. Well, you still will, but you will not miss out on watching the workshops you missed.

We are able to greatly reduce our registration fees as our way to say thank you for your support during this past year and for staying connected with SCMA.

Our conference will start off with a keynote speech by Peter Robinson, Pepperdine professor emeritus followed by nine workshops spread out over three concurrent sessions.

I am looking forward to this year’s conference. I hope you will join us!
