For our March meeting, the Westside PDG will be discussing a mediator's use of humor and other personal qualities in mediation. As we all know, no two cases are the same, nor are any two mediators. So, the question arises whether you bring much of your personality to the table or are you serious business through and through? Is humor in your mediator tool box? Has it backfired? Have you regretted not using it when everything else seemed to fail?
