We are excited to invite you to the SCMA Professional Development Group (PDG) for Family Mediators as we host Ben Stich, LICSW, M.Ed., on Wednesday, February 12, at 6 PM Pacific Time for an engaging discussion on:

“Understanding Stress in Mediation: How Mediators Can Support Parties Effectively” (Exploring the neurobiology of stress and practical strategies to help parties navigate mediation.)

About Our Speaker: Ben Stich is a highly experienced divorce, co-parenting, and family mediator who transitioned into mediation after years of working with families as a social worker. His passion for mediation began in 2009, leading him to establish Mediation and Family Services in 2014. Since then, he has successfully mediated hundreds of divorce and family disputes, helping families stay in control of their decisions while saving time, money, and heartache. Beyond mediation, Ben serves as a Divorce Coach in the Collaborative Law model and is an Instructor for William James College’s High Conflict Co-Parenting Program. He also trains professionals in Collaborative Problem Solving for MGH Psychiatry’s Think: Kids program and serves on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. A sought-after speaker, Ben regularly presents workshops on mediation, divorce, and advanced mediation training for professionals. Join us for this valuable learning opportunity and gain practical insights into how mediators can better support parties under stress.
