Michael Pezzullo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. He specializes in treating substance use disorders and trauma, and focuses on high-conflict divorces. Michael is also an adjunct professor at Antioch University and serves on the board of the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles.

In this presentation, Michael will discuss strategies for mediators when dealing with substance issues in divorce cases. This includes handling non-cooperative substance abusers, recognizing denial, and understanding when and how to involve therapists. The session aims to provide mediators with practical tools and insights to manage these challenging scenarios effectively.
