We invite you to attend our next SCMA Professional Development Group for Family Mediators event featuring John A. Fiske, a seasoned mediator specializing in family disputes. In his presentation, John plans to outline key points initially and then facilitate a discussion based on participants’ questions and professional experiences with couples. The session will cover themes such as: • Approaching the topic of staying married during mediation sessions. • Managing situations where one spouse is considering divorce and the other is not. • Setting expectations for discussions on marital outcomes at the start of mediation. John A. Fiske graduated from Yale in 1958 and Michigan Law School in 1961. His career includes practicing law in NYC and Boston, and extensive experience in mediation since 1979. John focuses on helping couples explore the potential to strengthen or resolve their marital issues through mediation. He is a co-founder of Divorce Mediation Training Associates and practices primarily at Healy, Fiske, Richmond & Matthew, LLP.
