Our Ventura /Santa Barbara PDG is excited to invite you to an enlightening presentation by James Curry, a highly esteemed and experienced mediator who will share his perspectives and experiences on the topic of “Mediating cases where policy limits have been demanded.” Mr. Curry will discuss the complexities and strategies involved in resolving high-stakes disputes, looking at policy demands as applied to first party and third party claims, and the nuances between timing of demands and mediation confidentiality. This insightful discussion promises to enhance your understanding and practices in handling these challenging cases. 

Mr. Curry is currently affiliated with ARC and has served as a full-time neutral for nearly a decade. He has acted as a mediator or arbitrator in over 1,000 cases since 1983 and participated as an advocate in several hundred mediations. An experienced litigator with more than 35 years of trial experience, he was voted one of the San Fernando Valley's top 25 lawyers for both his litigation and mediation skills by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. Mr. Curry specializes in last-minute mediations, which can allow parties to avoid costly discovery, expert witnesses, and other litigation expenses.
