She serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA) and as the chair of membership, influencing the field's future direction. Recognized for her contributions with the 2023 President’s Award from SCMA, Leyla is also a valued member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Arbitration Panel and a Certified Advanced Practitioner of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators (APFM).
