We are happy to announce that Wendy Forrester will be our guest speaker for the Westside PDG’s August meeting. Wendy is an experienced  family mediator with over 30 years of experience. She’ll provide a roadmap for conducting a successful mediation from start to finish,  including:

-Convening the mediation from the initial inquiry through the
consultation. Turning an initial contact into a lasting relationship.

-Initial consultation, providing benefit to the client and laying the
foundation for a successful mediation.

-Working with reluctant or difficult clients, bringing clients onboard.

-Fee structure, setting fees and getting paid.

-Tips for efficiently handling paperwork.

-Signing the agreement and follow-up.

-Defining a successful mediation for the parties and the mediator.

This is a great opportunity for members to ask questions and learn  step by step how to conduct a successful mediation from start to finish.

Wendy Forrester is a mediator, attorney and legal educator. She’s been  a professional mediator since 1988 and maintains a private practice with a focus on family and divorce mediation. Wendy served as the  Associate Director of California Lawyers for the Arts and as the Arts Arbitration and Mediation Services Program Coordinator where she  resolved hundreds of arts and entertainment related conflicts.
