Speaker Bio: Denisa has been providing QDRO and retirement valuation services for nearly 20 years. She is the Founder and CEO of TOVA QDRO & Retirement Valuation Consultants LLC based in Long Island, NY, however providing services throughout the entire US and internationally. Denisa and her team provide expertise in the area of distribution and valuation of retirement assets; specifically, the preparation of QDROs, pension valuations, tracing marital/non-marital analysis, and drafting of tailored retirement settlements. Denisa consults and provides valuation of international pensions in US divorces. She is also frequently appointed as an expert by the UK Courts in UK divorces that involve US pensions.
In addition to her practical experience, as a response to chronic issues with the distribution of retirement assets and faulty settlements, she has been presenting monthly webinars to divorce practitioners, individual law firms and CLE programs to the Bar Associations. She has presented CLE programs to many Matrimonial Bar Associations in various states, AAML chapter, the Judicial Institute, and to the lawyers in the United Kingdom. For several years, she had appeared live as a financial expert on several TV stations (NBC, ABC and Fox) and had her own segment titled “The Economy Tracker”. Denisa was born and raised in Prague and as a teenage girl immigrated to the US. She had previously lived in California and Colorado and has enjoyed calling New York her home for the last five years.
