Dear fellow SCMA members,
We hope you're all well and that you had an excellent January.
For the Westside PDG's February meeting, Stacey Lisk and I will be discussing Elder Care Mediation. By debriefing a particular case that we had recently, we'll introduce the subject to those who don't know what it is and what an elder care mediation often entails. We'll discuss the participants, the issues, the strategies, the challenges, what we did well and what we would've done differently. We hope other elder care mediators will join in the conversation by sharing their own experiences and what they would've done differently had they mediated this case.
By sharing this case debriefing with you, we hope to introduce you to this area of practice in a way that (we find) is more interesting and engaging. In other words, it'll be a conversation and discussion, not a lecture.
