The Attorney Outreach Committee of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA) invites you to attend a free one-hour webinar (hosted on Zoom) on Wednesday, January 26, 2021, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. PST. Its title: "Mediating Post-Pandemic: Maximizing the Benefits and Managing the Challenges that Lie Ahead".

The program features two exceptional panelists, both of whom are revered mediators here in Southern California, as well as distinguished Past Presidents of SCMA – Jan Frankel Schau and Floyd J. Siegal. They will share their wisdom about how best to prepare for and participate in Zoom mediations, the new Gold Standard in Alternative Dispute Resolution since the beginning of last year. James K. Cameron, Co-Chair of the SCMA Attorney Outreach Committee, will moderate.

This program is designed especially for civil litigators who wish to enhance their skill sets to maximize the returns for themselves and their clients using Zoom mediation. You do not need to be a member of SCMA in order to attend. This program is offered to SCMA members and attorneys free of charge.

Our two panelists will both examine how mediating online has improved the quality of mediation in important respects, and offer numerous practical tips for how attorneys and their clients can best prepare for and utilize online mediation most effectively.

A full program outline and supporting reading materials (authored by the two panelists and others) will be distributed a few days before the program to all who register. Since SCMA is a State Bar approved MCLE provider, the program offers 1.0 Hour of participatory credit to State Bar members. Attendance certificates will be provided to all participants who attend for the full hour.
