Good afternoon, fellow SCMA members - Jim Cameron here, the Leader of the Valley PDG. For those of you new to the SCMA fold, the Valley Professional Development Group meets each month on the 3rd Wednesday, at 6 pm, for now and the foreseeable future on Zoom. Our next meeting, open to all within SCMA, will be next Wednesday the 19th at 6:00 p.m. RSVPs are needed in order to receive a Zoom invitation.

Unlike some of the other PDGs, we often do not have a designated speaker or topic. Instead we try to provide an open forum for our members to discuss with their colleagues issues of common concern based on our practice experiences. Our "regulars" include the current and some Past Presidents as well as some Board members, plus other leaders in the mediation community who have, or have had, some tie to the Valley. That said, now that we are in Zoom mode, everyone is welcome to attend whether or not you call the Valley "home". If you wish to participate, please reply JUST TO ME -- please DO NOT HIT REPLY ALL! I will send out the Zoom invites a day or two in advance to those who have replied Yes. We look forward to welcoming some new folks as well as familiar peeps.
