About the Presenter:

Chip Rose has been the Director of the Mediation Center in Santa Cruz, California and certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.  An adjunct faculty member of the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University School of Law, he teaches workshops in basic and advanced mediation and Collaborative Practice and is the author of articles related to financial issues.

Topic:

As a nationally and internationally recognized innovator and expert in the field of mediation and collaborative conflict resolution, Chip will share with us imaginative approach to examining the many considerations that arise out of the Family Residence and give mediators an opportunity to redefine the ways clients think about how to use this asset in negotiation.  The disposition of their home is no longer limited to what is it worth and whether it is sold or kept by one of the parties.
