Hello SCMA members,

Please join us for the Long Beach PDG Meeting on Saturday, Feb. 6 - 9:30 am - 10:30 am (Zoom).

Now more than ever, mediation skills are important to foster a collaborative effort in efficiently and effectively resolving conflict. Our guest speaker Ana Sambold will be discussing  "lessons learned" from a best-selling book "Thinking Fast and Slow" by Nobel Prize winner Daniel Kahneman. "Thinking Fast and Slow" provides a groundbreaking tour of the mind and explains the two systems that drive the way we think.

Ana will provide her unique insight into the successful application of the concepts in "Thinking Fast and Slow" and will lead an interactive discussion on the remarkable impact  "Thinking Fast and Slow" can make on your ability to excel as a mediator.  Recently, Ana was a featured speaker in an international webinar hosted by the Latin America Organization for Collaborative Law in which she discussed the valuable tools she gained for her mediation practice from "Thinking Fast and Slow.”

Ana Sambold is a San Diego based mediator, arbitrator and online dispute resolution professional. With over a decade of Bar experience as a conflict resolution specialist, she has served as a neutral in over 1,000 cases across a broad spectrum of civil litigation matters. Her practice involves the resolution of business/commercial, insurance coverage, employment, personal injury, succession, and cases involving multinational and multilingual parties. She is currently the Chair of the San Diego County Association ADR Section.

This meeting will be via Zoom.

Please RSVP to Cherry Destura at [email protected].
