Susan Guthrie, Esq. Susan Guthrie, nationally recognized as one of the Top Family Law and Mediation Attorneys in the United States, has been helping individuals and families navigate separation and divorce for 30 years. Susan provides exclusively online divorce mediation and legal coaching services to select clients around the world through her business Divorce in a Better Way. Susan has also recently partnered with mediation legend, Forrest “Woody” Mosten, to create the Mosten Guthrie Academy to provide cutting edge gold-standard trainings for attorneys, mediators and other professionals. As a leading dispute resolution professional, Susan is honored to serve on the Executive Council of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Dispute Resolution as the Membership Officer and to be a Co-Chair of the Mediation Committee and Annual Advanced Mediation Skills Institute. Susan is also an internationally well-regarded expert in online mediation and has been training colleagues and other professionals in the practical and ethical considerations of conducting their mediations online with her innovative programs and webinars for more than two years. To date, more than 15,000 dispute resolution professionals have benefited from her program and she has trained mediators in countries all around the world including programs for the American Bar Association (ABA), the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada (ADRIC), and the National Association of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) among others. Susan founded Learn to Mediate Online™ in 2018 and now offers more than 7 programs for professionals all designed to help them to advance their skills and their practice to new heights. Susan was recently awarded the prestigious L. Randolph Lowry Award from the Southern California Mediation Association for 2020 which is presented to a member of the dispute resolution community who has honored and inspired us through their passion and dedication to education in the field of dispute resolution. In addition, Susan was named to the Executive Committee of the newly formed Online Mediation Training Task Force, created to make recommendations regarding standards and practices in the field. In addition to her other professional endeavors, Susan is an award-winning podcast host. Having reached a podcast listening audience of almost 4 million in the past two years, Susan is the creator and host of the hit podcast, The Divorce and Beyond Podcast with Susan Guthrie, Esq. which debuted on iTunes “Top Podcasts for Self-Help” List. She recently launched The Learn to Mediate Online Podcast with Susan Guthrie, Esq. to bring current information, updates and news on ODR to her thousands of followers. Susan has been featured in and on media outlets such as CNBC, Market Watch, Forbes, Eye on Chicago, WGN, the ABA’s Just Resolutions Magazine, Thrive Global, The Nook Online among others. She is licensed to practice law in the States of California and Connecticut as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States.
Dr. Debra Dupree Dr. Debra Dupree is a renowned mediator, speaker and trainer with nearly 30 years’ experience in the dispute resolution field. She brings unique perspectives to the field of mediation as a licensed marriage family therapist with a doctorate degree in psychology specializing in family issues. She is an Advanced Practitioner in Workplace Mediation by the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) and served on its Board as the national Co-Chair and Editor for the ACR Workplace Section. Dr. Dupree provides conflict coaching and parenting plan mediation for parents seeking divorce and those dealing in high conflict post-divorce parenting based on training and certification through CINERGY Conflict Coach Creator Cinnie Noble and New Ways for Families Founder Bill Eddy, both highly acclaimed Attorneys | Mediators | Authors. As the former Director of Training for Mediation Training Institute (MTI), she designed and delivered training with MTI’s founder, Dr. Dan Dana, training lawyers, executives and human resource professionals throughout North America, the Pacific Rim and parts of Africa. Dr. Dupree is now on the faculty for the American Arbitration Association’s Mediation Division and previously taught at California Western School of Law in dispute resolution. She is a regular speaker at professional conferences sharing the psychology behind human behavior in conflict. She currently resides in the seaside community of Coronado, CA with her YorkiePom, Snickers, and has two adult children in their respective careers.

Gabrielle Hartley, Esq. Gabrielle Hartley, Esq., is a leading online mediator and family law attorney known for keeping 99% of her cases at the settlement table. After clerking for Justice Jeffrey Sunshine in NYS Supreme Court, matrimonial part, she opened a private practice serving clients online, in MA and NYS. Gabrielle authored Better Apart; The Radically Positive Way to Separate (Harper Collins 2019). She is a sought after expert in the positive divorce space in media outlets such as The New York Times, The New York Post, U.S. News and World Report, has been interviewed on dozens of podcasts and is a regular guest on NBC Mass Appeal.
