The Southern California Mediation Association is excited to host its 34th Annual Fall Conference at The Straus Institute at Pepperdine University in Malibu on Saturday, October 28, 2023. As SCMA’s mission is to nurture, expand, and develop the practice, profession, and community of mediation, the conference theme is “Mediators in Action: Building Bridges and Empowering Choices.” This theme focuses on the role mediators play in skillfully motivating, connecting, and empowering people to come to successful resolutions to issues. Participants will engage in opportunities to connect with colleagues to share skills, techniques, and opportunities to facilitate connection and empower people throughout the mediation process.  

This year’s conference festivities will include:
