This month, the Westside PDG will host a conversation and opportunity to dig deep into our "Inner states" as mediators.
We will talk about what we, as humans, bring into the mediation room. This includes our biases, assumptions, perceptions, fears, values, and anything else that we inherently carry behind our neutral, unbiased roles.
How are you incorporating yourself, either intentionally or subconsciously, into your position as mediator? What is the impact you may be making on the mediation when you are suppressing your inner self in an attempt to uphold neutrality and impartiality?
We hope to uncover what inner self you carry, using this as a moment to reflect so that we can positively incorporate ourselves into our mediations to make the sessions more meaningful and productive.
You might just find that there is something new to learn about yourself among your peers!
