Marilyn M. Mordetzky

Commissioner Marilyn M. Mordetzky is a distinguished legal professional serving as Commissioner of the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County. She has presided over Family Law, Unlawful Detainers, Small Claims, and Juvenile Dependency cases. Prior to her commissioner role, she was a Referee for Juvenile Dependency cases and had her own law practice specializing in Family, Dependency, and Personal Injury Law. Commissioner Mordetzky is known for her contributions to mediation, having founded "Southern California Family Mediation" and served as Director and Adjunct Professor for the Family Law Mediation Clinic at USC Gould School of Law. She has received various awards, including the Administration of Justice Award, Judicial Officer of the Year Award, and multiple Recognition Awards from state and local authorities.
